Classroom Tips

Play bird calls, instead of saying the bird's name, play its call and have students identify it. Adds an incredible listening and nature awareness element to the game.

Connect to continents, after the game, have students place each bird on a world map. Ostrich and Shoebill (Africa), Cassowary and Bird of Paradise (Australia/Papua New Guinea), Rhea and Emu (South America/Australia), Puffin (Arctic), Hummingbird (Americas).

Flightless birds spotlight, highlight the Ostrich, Emu, Cassowary and Rhea as flightless birds and discuss why some birds evolved without flight.

One link for all players, BingoGoat generates unique shuffled cards automatically for every student.
