What this bingo game teaches
Alphabet Bingo targets letter recognition and naming in kindergarten. Using uppercase letters as the “words” on the card keeps the grid simple and aligned with many early literacy programs. The free center square leaves room for a FREE space as in traditional bingo.
How to use it in class
Chant or sing the alphabet first, then play. Call letters clearly; occasionally add a sound cue (“M, /m/”). For a second session, swap in Y and Z or try lowercase by editing the list in the editor. Keep rounds short and celebrate multiple winners across the week.
